PASTORAL FOR THE PLANET, PREMIERED IN PARIS, 2020

Mihael Milunovic realized, throughout almost a year long preparations and production , hundreds of drawings, and scenography designs that were subsequently animated and staged by Eyesbergstudio, as a part of an exceptional collaboration of the artist with La Fura dels Baus, Carlus Padrissa, Insula Orchestra and director Laurence Equilbey. 

Mihael Milunovic revisited the Beethoven romantic vision of man and nature, his revolt against the industrial revolution, his obsessions with human condition, environment, creation and self development, in a new light of our contemporary standpoints toward the natural world, extinction of species, humanitarian and natural disasters and the place of humans, with their responsibilities and visions toward the near future of the Planet Earth.

Pastoral for The Planet was premiered on 26 and 27.02.2020 in the Grand Auditorium of La Seine Musicale in Paris.

International dates are actually rescheduling due to Covid-19 pandemics.

PAX, AN  IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE AT THE KLANGWOLKE 2018 IN LINZ 

Klangwolke & Brucknerhaus opera is the biggest yearly cultural event in Linz. The outdoor scene (bankside of the river Danube) was one kilometer long and hosted two hundred thousand viewers.

It was mixing dance, classical music, art performance and monumental sculptures created by Mihael Milunovic.

The project “PAX”  was developed in collaboration with Fura del Baus, Artist Mihael Milunovic and the city of Linz.

 

A multimedia and interactive show in which the history of humanity is presented as a dreamlike visualization. The audience was be surrounded in 360º by incredible elements that will be transported by land, water and air.

 

A giant carrier pigeon built with 12 meter long light tubes, which represents the human tradition of communicating de­spite distance, and in that moment, the au­dience was  able to send text messages that will be instantly projected in the dif­ferent elements that appear in the show. Mihael also created a monumental Robot and a Tank that were floating on Danube.

RINGTURM ART WRAPPING IN VIENNA, 2017

For the 10 years Art Jubilee, “ Wiener Städtische”, covered the Ringturm skyscraper with forty thousand square meters reproduction of the paining "Vision" aka "Blue Mountain"  by the contemporary painter Mihael Milunovic during 6 months. The national TV covered the opening ceremony and speeches of the Austrian prime minister and the artist. Few licensed special edition products where developed with Villeroy & Boch and a luxurious chocolate house.
